Currently the logging is very minimal and hasn't gotten much attention.

More detailed logging messages can help pinpoint the problem if something goes wrong. Being able to easily pinpoint a problem and troubleshoot is also a very important pillar to making something usable for people.

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
